Man! I used to beg for a horse too! I couldn’t understand why we couldn’t have one since we had a big yard and a little barn : ). When I grew up I realized how much work horses are. They sure are beautiful though, aren’t they?

What a beautiful set of images, Pam. Thanks for sharing. Love, Becky

Horses are such magnificent creatures. I love them… from afar. They make me nervous. Went on a romantic ride on the beach at dusk one time with hubby and this horse I was on (Flame)…. well, let’s just say that it wasn’t as romantic as it could have been. Between Flame totally living up to his name and sand flea bites and scratching like crazy, I would have been happier not being on a horse. That said, I still love horse. From afar.

Awesome action shots at the rodeo!

Your photos make me want to just reach out and pet those beautiful faces. Wonderful Pam.
To answer your question, no the bird isn’t real. It was on a display at the Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas. That “baby” was over 8 feet tall!

outstanding! i am absolutely enthralled by horses and your images captured the majesty and sweetness of their essence so beautifully. i used to visit a ranch in my youth and rode again in twenties. i fell so deeply in love with them. your pictures made me pause when i saw them, as their power and grace resonates so greatly in them all. great captures!

I’ve always wanted a horse. 4 or so yrs ago we came THIS close to moving to a house that had a horse farm right next door. I was so excited, but it didn’t work out. Great shots!
